Therapy offers the possibility of being able to look at any important issues in your life. It could be a chance to explore your ‘world view’ and how that affects your relationships, your decision making and your sense of well-being.
Each session is unique and I do not impose a set model or theory and try and use whatever suits you. My training is informed mainly by Existential, EMDR and CBT principles.
At your first appointment you will be invited into a private and comfortable space to discuss your personal hopes in therapy. This initial paid consultation will provide time to discuss any concerns you may have about counselling. I offer face to face or video counselling sessions via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, FaceTime and Skype.
At your first meeting online or in-person, I will consider which type of counselling or psychotherapy will be the best for your needs. You may have a preference for the kind of personal therapist you would like to see and this can be discussed at this first meeting and a referral made if appropriate.
